Questions We Hear Often

For a dedicated recovery room, a two-person cabin offers an intimate, focused heat experience and fits comfortably in most spare rooms or covered patios. If you plan to share the space regularly or want the feeling of a more expansive retreat, a larger four-person cabin gives you that room to fully recline and decompress. Consider ceiling height and ventilation access before finalizing your footprint.

Cedar is one of the most sought-after choices for home saunas — it is naturally resistant to moisture, releases a warm, resinous aroma during heat sessions, and holds its finish beautifully over time. Thermowood and Nordic spruce are also favored in higher-end builds for their dimensional stability and clean grain. The wood species affects both the sensory atmosphere and the long-term durability of your sanctuary.

Traditional dry heat saunas use a Finnish-style electric heater to raise the room temperature to anywhere between 70°C and 100°C, creating an enveloping, radiant heat that encourages deep perspiration and muscular relaxation. The experience is distinct from infrared panels, which heat the body more directly at lower ambient temperatures. If you want the authentic Nordic ritual — the crack of heat, the layered warmth, the option to ladle water over stones — a dry heat sauna is the definitive choice.

We offer Free Standard Shipping on Most Orders Within the Continental U.S. (Excludes AK/HI), and all sauna purchases are covered by our 30-day return policy. We recommend reviewing dimensions and access points at your installation site before your order arrives.

About Our Saunas

We carry three kinds of sauna. Indoor infrared saunas use heating panels that warm you directly at lower air temperatures, and many run on a standard household outlet. Outdoor saunas, in barrel and cabin shapes, use a traditional heater and stones for high, enveloping heat and are built to stand up to the weather. Portable saunas fold away or set up wherever you need them.

When choosing, start with where it will go, indoors or outside, then how many people will use it at once. After that, compare the wood, the heater type and power, and the door and glass style. Check the dimensions and electrical requirements listed on each product before you order.
